Phoebe Halliwell hasn't always been the neat advice columnist we know. There was a time where Phoebe was a teenager, a total
rebel... people used to call her 'freebie'.
When Patricia Halliwell, Phoebe's mother, died, Phoebe was only 3 years old. She was raised by her grandmother 'Grams'
as the youngest sister, along with her two older sisters Prue and Piper. When Grams died, Phoebe moved to New York at the
age of 23.
One year later, Phoebe lost her job and moved back to San Francisco, where she moved into the Halliwell Manor along with
her sisters. That same night, Phoebe is the one to discover the Book of Shadows and reading an incantation, gaining her and
her sisters their powers and leading them on their way of discovering their new destiny as witches.
When she first moved back, Phoebe and Prue didn't really get along well. However, living together in the same house and
especially their new destiny forcing them to unite, caused them to finally accept each other, and eventually become really
close sisters.
When Paige appeared in Piper and Phoebe's lives, Phoebe could accept their new (half)sister better than Piper could. It
was her who went after Paige when she received a premonition about her. When Piper started to accept Prue's death, she started
to accept Paige too, just like Phoebe did. The more time went by, the closer Phoebe and Paige got.
But though the three sisters were united, Phoebe's trouble wasn't over with Cole. Their relationship went well, very well.
Eventually, Phoebe married Cole, not knowing that her man recently got possessed by no one less than the Source himself. Not
long after, Phoebe moved out of the Halliwell Manor and started living with her new husband in their new appartment. Soon
after, Phoebe got pregnant, not knowing that her child was a spawn of pure evil, destined to become the most powerful, evil
being ever.
When Phoebe found out about Cole being the Source, she was heartbroken, and didn't know what to do. However, to everybody's
surprise, Phoebe got turned by the Seer and accepted Cole's new job; she became the Queen of the Underworld.
But her new role didn't last long. Phoebe's love for her sisters was just too strong, and eventually she had to give in
made the most difficult and terrible decision of her life: she had to vanquish Cole.
With her child growing inside of her, Phoebe tried to get used to the fact to move on without Cole and becoming a single
parent. But her child was the Source of All Evil, and actually belonged to the Seer herself. When the Seer literally stole
the child out of Phoebe's womb, Phoebe realized the baby was never hers nor Cole's, and so with the Power of Three, the sisters
vanquished the Seer and the Source, along with the whole evil council, giving the balance between good and evil a big turn,
in Good's benefit.
When Cole returned again, Phoebe didn't want to have anything to do with him anymore. Cole was either good, then evil
again... Soon they got divorced. Eventually, after a long while, Phoebe vanquished Cole again, this time for good.
Phoebe also continued her job as advice columnist, and became more and more popular. Her advice became more and more accurate,
of course especially when she received her empathy powers.
Due to a little glimpse of the future, Phoebe was the first sister to find out Chris' true identity. In the same little
trip, she saw herself being pregnant. That caused her to go on a crazy race to find her mister Right, marry and finally start
a family. However, there's still no result, unfortunately.
