The Halliwell Book of Shadows, an ever-changing collection of spells, magical lore, and family history handed down trough
many generations, rests in a steamer trunk in the attic of Halliwell Manor. Guided by the Spirit Board, Phoebe finds the large,
leather-bound book. The Triquetra embossed on the dusty cover is also found on the first page with the title Book of Shadows,
and the year 1693. Under the auspices of the fill moon the same night, Phoebe recites the first incantation.
