Patty Halliwell is Prue, Piper, Phoebe and Paige's mother; Penny "Grams" Halliwell is her mother. Victor Bennett
is the three older sisters' father; Paige's father is Sam, Patty's Whitelighter [Patty and Sam gave Paige up for adoption,
for the baby's protection, and no one ever knew about her]. A Water Demon killed Patty when her children were very young,
and only Prue and Piper had any real memory of her. After they came into their powers, the girls leaned that under some circumstances,
they're able to see, speak with, and even touch Patty, as well as Grams. Usually the sisters have to call on their mother
if they want to speak to her, but Patty does show up once in awhile, without being called, to help her daughters out of tight
spots.
